The above pictures show the different stages during the absorption by ecoplus of used motor oil. After absorption the used product can be removed and composted (Fig 4).

An indication of the oleophilic (oil loving) characteristics of ecoplus - some product that was removed from an oil spill on water (Fig 5), was so saturated with oil that it could be ignited (Fig 6). If water were absorbed, ignition of the absorbed oil would not be possible.

Fig 9. Simply add ecoplus until it no longer changes colour from light brown to dark brown. There is little or no oily residue left on the surface of the tile.
